A brushed techno-fabric that is pleasant to the touch and breathable, moisture wicking and perfect for workwear since it can keep the body humidity and temperature steady. The Brushing treatment it undergoes increases its thermal insulation power, creating a sort of protective cushion.
COOLNET UV®
Coolnet® UV technology made of 95% recycled polyester microfiber will pull sweat away from your children’s skin thanks to its moisture management properties and cooling fabric design.
CUT RESISTANT
Product certified as Personal Protective Equipment after obtaining EU Type certification as provided in Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and in accordance with Standards EN ISO 13688:2013 Protective clothing - General requirements, and with Section 3.3 of Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (protection against mechanical in-juries by means of resistance to gashing by sharp objects).
It is a highly advanced fiber based on a polythylene with an ultra-high molecular weight, making it 15 times stronger than steel. In addition, all fabrics created with Dyneema® are lighter than competitor brands.
FASTWICK EXTRA PLUS
A knitted fabric made of knitted polyester forming a special honeycomb construction with highly breathable properties. The textile dries quickly and keeps comfort under a high intensity activity.
Warm and highly breathable synthetic fabric made to keep thermal insulation and draw sweat away from the skin.
GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER®
Original WINDSTOPPER® fabric technology by GORE-TEX LABS ensures that garments are totally windproof, preventing discomfort from windchill. The enhanced breathability helps manage the body's microclimate without the wearer expending too much energy.
GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER®
Products made with GORE® WINDSTOPPER® are totally windproof and deliver maximum breathability to keep you comfortable in cool and windy weather conditions. The totally windproof, yet extremely breathable membrane blocks the wind and allows vapor to escape. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind’s chilling effect while reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. A durable outer fabric treatment provides you additional protection of water repellency.
HEIQ SMART TEMP
Is a revolutionary textile technology that provides fabrics with the ability to interact with body temperature and dynamically respond to body heat. The cooling function is activated when you are hot and sweaty and deactivated once cooling is complete. It helps to ensure optimal comfort and performance. It is specifically designed for next-to-skin textiles, bringing a new level of thermal comfort.
Natural and sustainable fabrics made with fine and soft non-itchy wool. They are breathable, draw sweat away from the skin and have excellent thermo regulation properties.
The Merino wool we use comes from the finest Australian Merino sheep, raised, cared for and sheared in the most respectful way.
MODACRYL
Modacrylic fibres are high performing synthetic fibres that are flame resistant. This results in robust resistance against electric arc and flash-fires. That is why they are commonly used in work environments like the energy utility sector and in the petrochemical sector.
Modarcyl products are made from 59% Modacryl, 28% Fire Resistant Viscose and 3% Antistatic fibre.

NOMEX® & NOMEX® NANO FLEX
NOMEX® is a meta-aramid fibre invented and manufactured by DuPontTM. Nomex® has flame -retardant properties, is resistant to high temperatures and will not melt, drip, or combust in air. This high level of protection is engineered into the fibre’s molecular structure, it’s not chemical, which means the heat and flame resistance of NOMEX® is inherent and permanent and will last the life of the garment. As well as resisting extreme temperatures, thanks to its advanced thermo-technology, garments made with NOMEX® offer optimum comfort and durability.
Nomex® Nano Flex was developed to help make products like firefighter hoods more protective against particles without compromising comfort. A highly breathable FR material with exceptional elasticity and superior particle barrier performance, Nomex® Nano Flex is also thinner and lighter weight than other FR materials. The addition of Nomex® Nano Flex to a firefighter hood composite structure provides improved particle barrier protection in the neckline and upper jaw area that historically are known to be the most vulnerable and least protected. In fact, it results in up to a 4X increase in particle barrier efficiency.
PACKABLE
Product that can be folded or crushed when not in use yet recovers its original shape when released. Advanced technology designed for convenience, can be folded inside a hand without losing its shape once released.
POLARTEC®
Classic Polartec 100™ fleece is a lightweight insulating layer. It is bonded Buff® Original Ecostretch fabric. Polartec® was the first to knit, nap, and shear synthetic yarns into thermal fabric for outdoor apparel. Polyester fibers were engineered for more versatile durability. With greater resiliency, lightweight warmth and fast dry times, Polartec® fleece remains the industry standard for outerwear performance.

Highly effective antimicrobial technology that uses natural silver salt in low concentration to inhibit the growth of micro-organisms for odour control.
PRIMALOFT® & PRIMALOFT® BIO™
PrimaLoft® is the world leader in research and
innovative development of comfort solutions with high performance insulations, fabrics, and yarns. Its synthetic polar fleece, made from recycled polyester, provides enhanced breathability and excellent
thermal insulation that helps to keep the worker's body temperature by retaining the body’s heat. Besides that, it also offers superior hand-feel and softness, which translates into a great comfort. BUFF® is transitioning to PrimaLoft® Bio™ except for Fluor ond Solid Military colours.

These microbes enable synthetic insulation and fabric to return to materials found in nature, leaving behind components like water, CO2, methane, biomass and humus – a common, natural component of potting soil.

RECYLCED POLYESTER
Fabric made from post-consumer plastic
bottles. Bottles are retrieved after use, cleaned and broken into small chips. These chips are processed further and converted into fibres which are then woven into technical fabrics. Any BUFF® product with this icon is made from 2 Recycled Plastic Bottles. We make each one of our Recycled Polyester tubulars from 95% recycled fabric as part of our ongoing mission to create a circular economy and to be innovative about not just how our products function, but how they are made, and what they are made of.
SEAMLESS
Any BUFF® product with this icon is designed in one piece of tubular fabric and without any seams which makes it very pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear throughout a full working day.
SILVER PLUS ( antibacterial growth)
The use of nanotechnology by means of silver ions provides natural defense against bacteria growth, effictively combatting odours.
THERMONET®
An in-house developed fabric that brings together the knitting tradition at BUFF® with technical yarns from PrimaLoft®. The result is a extremely thin, lightweight fabric retains body heat while wicking moisture away.
Protection against the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Product certified as Personal Protective Equipment against the sun’s ultraviolet (UV radiation, according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Fabric has been tested for UV protection in accordance with the standard AS/NZS 4399: 2017 “Sun protective clothing Evaluation and Classification”, results achieving UPF 50 (98% UV protection). Please note: not applicable to breathable side panels and holes area of the PACK CAP and PACK BIMINI CAP.
